Hi, I'm Wanyi Xie.
My professional journey began in engineering.
Years of engineering education and practice trained me to analyze problems through systems, logic, and structure. While studying in the UK and living long-term in a different cultural environment for the first time, I began to realize that a product's true value does not depend on technology alone. It also depends on whether the product genuinely understands the people who use it.
With that reflection, I went to Canada to study Interactive Media Design, hoping to find better ways to connect technology with people. Later, I entered the field of Learning Experience Design, creating digital learning experiences for educational institutions, government, enterprises, and non-profit organizations.
This path strengthened my design direction: to use systems thinking to understand complex problems, and to use design to help people from different backgrounds understand knowledge and understand one another.
